Takagi has been producing quality tankless water heaters for over fifty years. Released in 2003, the T-KJr is their smallest unit. With gas inputs of up to 140,000 BTU per hour, the T-KJr is designed to be comparable to a 40-gallon traditional water heater.
A cost-efficient and environmentally friendly tankless water heater, the Takagi T-KJr is wall-mounted and has an efficiency rating of 81% with natural gas or 83% with propane. It can be converted into a direct-vent model with the optional TV09 conversion kit for installation in a confined space with limited intake air flow.
The T-KJr can supply more than 180 gallons of hot water ever hour on demand. Since there is no bulky tank, it frees up valuable storage space while delivering convenience, fuel savings, and dependability. It features automatic gas and water valves, electronic ignition, and computerized controls.
Safety is assured with an efficient system of circuits and sensors that check for over or under-heating. The computerized controls continually monitor incoming water temperatures, water levels, gas levels, air quality, and venting conditions.
