Titan Tankless Water Heater

titan tankless water heater

“I got my Titan ... and have not looked back. I have endless hot water that never runs out, I save about $25 dollars a month in electricity as it only comes on when I turn on the hot water. Saved space too in my garage and if I have guests over I never have to worry about running out of hot water! I ordered on a Monday morning and got it Tuesday. Its important you get a good plumber to install as some wiring had to be upgraded. My neighbors saw mine and they ended up getting one. Its cheaper to buy on their site of titantankless.com. Best decision I have made....THANKS TITAN TANKLESS!!”   ~MerchantCircle.com Consumer Cathy Lulley

Titan Tankless Water Heaters have been saving home and business owners substantial amounts of money since 1986. Like any other brand, Titan heaters provide hot water on demand, as opposed to continuously heating a large volume of water that still seems to run out at the most inopportune times. Owners of a tankless water heater can expect to see immediate and tangible benefits when their water heating costs decrease by as much as 60 percent. That is a substantial drop, considering that water heating accounts for a sizable portion of the average household's energy costs.

Titan offers a few different lines of tankless water heaters, designed for homes of all sizes and climate conditions.

The Tempra series is the most robustly designed, and the priciest. These range in size from the Tempra 12, suitable for supplying one major application at a time to the Tempra 36 which is capable of providing hot water for up to three applications. This series is little more powerful than the others, as Tempra is intended for use in Northern areas with a colder climate. Groundwater can get very cold under these conditions, so water requires more heating, and quickly.

Titan's SCR series primarily address the needs of warmer climates. The most extensive is the SCR2 line ; these are recommended for use in areas where the groundwater is above 65 degrees Fahrenheit. At the top of this line is the SCR2 N-120 for heating enough water for most homes of 1 to 3 bedrooms. At the smaller end is the N-10, which is recommended for small sinks and lavatories or other low volume needs.

The SCR3 N-160 is similar. According to Titan, this model is ideal for medium to large homes in the South and small to medium homes in colder regions. The powerful SCR4 line is designed for homes with a higher hot water demand. It consists of the N-160, the N-180, and the N-210.

Titan also has tankless water heaters for more specific point of use applications. The DHC-E line is suitable for use in Tropical and Sub-Tropical climates and will provide water for a single appliance. The Mini 3 and Mini 6 are meant for lower volume point-of-use applications. In most cases, these will not provide enough hot water for heavy uses such as showering.

In addition to tankless water heaters, Titan also manufactures water efficient showerheads. The right showerhead can make a big difference no matter your method of water heating, but they are most effective when used in conjunction with a tankless heater.
